Electricity spot price in Finland – now, today and tomorrow
Follow the Finnish exchange electricity price (pörssisähkö) hour by hour: the price now, today and tomorrow in one chart, and the cheapest hours to use electricity. Useful for everyone with a spot price contract in Finland.
The prices come from the porssisahko.net service, which passes on the Nord Pool day-ahead prices for the Finnish bidding zone. Compare today and tomorrow and find the cheapest hours for the washing machine, dishwasher, sauna or charging an electric car. The colours show where each hour sits in the day's price range: green is the cheapest third, yellow the middle and red the most expensive. Under Your total price you can add your seller's margin, the transmission price and electricity tax to see what you really pay. Prices include 25.5% VAT by default.
When is electricity cheapest today?
The spot price changes with demand, wind power and transmission capacity. Tomorrow's prices are set in the Nord Pool auction, whose results are published at 12:45 CET or later, around 14:00 Finnish time. Since 1 October 2025 the price is set for each 15 minutes; the tool shows hourly averages, so a single quarter can be slightly cheaper or dearer.
