Public transport route planner for Finland – bus, tram, metro and train

Type where you start from and where you are going, and the route planner shows the next connections by bus, tram, metro, train and ferry. One search works across Finland: the Helsinki region (HSL), Turku (Föli), Tampere and other cities, and trips from one city to another.

Each route card shows when to leave, the departure and arrival time, the duration, transfers and walking distance, with a bar that shows every leg in the line's colour. Open a card to see the whole trip stop by stop with platforms and tracks, and the chosen route on the map. Real-time times are shown in green, and when you search for departures now, the routes refresh every minute. Service disruptions on your route are shown in English when the operator publishes an English text, as HSL does.

How do I plan a trip for a later time?

Choose Depart or Arrive by and pick the date and time. Under Options you can leave out modes, for example ferries, and choose a slow, normal or brisk walking speed (about 3.2, 4.5 or 5.8 km/h). Earlier and Later step through the connections. The star saves a place to My places, and Copy link opens the same search on another device. Routes come from Digitransit, the open journey planning service of Finnish public transport.
